Springboard provides a range of business acceleration services and funding options designed to support new and established Tasmanian science and technology businesses. The guided developmental phases of commercialisation are:

- generation of a viable business model, and
- accelerated revenue.
Am I eligible?
As a prerequisite to be eligible for Springboard acceleration, companies must operate in a field which is science and technology related. These include:
- marine and aquaculture technology
- agriculture technology
- science
- biotechnology
- information and communication technology, and
- other smart technology.
